The Charitable Donation Scheme allows tax relief on qualifying donations made to eligible charities and approved bodies. If an individual makes a donation of over €250 in the year, (either a one-off donation, or a monthly donation of €21) the charity or approved body can claim a refund of tax paid on that donation by the donor. Under this scheme a charity can claim the refund for the most recent four year period.
If you’ve kindly donated €250 or more in one calendar year, you can help The Oesophageal Cancer Fund claim tax relief on your generous donation. You’re helping us bring the good fight to a bad cancer because your donation goes towards funding research into new initiatives and innovative treatments, continuing to support the national Irish Barrett’s Registry and Bio Bank, and most importantly, offering ongoing support and education -beyond the hospital walls- for our patients, survivors and, their families.
