You might have a fundraising idea yourself and set up your own fundraising event or challenge.

You can do this through the OCF Just Giving Page

Go to the OCF Just Giving Page Choose START FUNDRAISING.

Create your own Just Giving Account.

Add a photo – Adding your own personal photos and pictures make the fundraiser more individual to you.

Add a fundraising summary – this is the first thing your supporters will read and it tells your story of why you are supporting the work of OCF. Let your supporters know what being a supporter of the Oesophageal Cancer Fund means to you.

Share your OCF Fundraising page on your social media channels. Remember every time you update your fundraising page, share it again on social media. Sharing is caring ?

Don’t forget to email friends and family who might not be on social media and tell them about the amazing initiative you are taking on, on behalf of OCF and ask them to support your fundraiser.

Include any money you’ve raised offline. Add your cash and cheque donations to your Just Giving page so your supporters can see how well you are doing raising funds for OCF.

Post regular updates – Give your supporters updates on how you are doing and thank them for their support. Remember donations can come in after the event so make sure you follow up and tell your supporters how you did.

Every year our amazing supporters – like you – all over Ireland organise LOLLIPOP DAY their own Fundraisers, raising the vital funds needed for Ireland’s pioneering research to combat Oesophageal Cancer.

Your generous Fundraising has funded ground-breaking research, giving hope to our patients, it’s also helped us raise €2 million since our first Lollipop Day, 20 years ago, this year.

Will you “Shake your Lolly” your way, throughout the month of April for Lollipop Month
