There are lots of fun and exciting ways you can offer your support in choosing to participate in any event. This section outlines -simply and clearly- the different roads you can take when you choose to help this way.
To support us, the easy-to-follow steps are contained within each of the individual tabs in this section.
However, if there’s an event not listed here, please call Anne on 086 454 2713 or email anne@ocf.ie who’ll be happy to help you.
Organised Events:
These are any type of events that might be happening in your local area that you would like to participate in on our behalf; they can be anything from trekking (we’ve even had our own “Kerry Camino”) to sporting events like the Cook Medical Limerick Run, or a hike on Croagh Patrick — no idea is a bad idea — whatever you’re into we’d love to hear from you.
Sponsored Events:
These are any type of official events you might like to participate in and raise funds for the OCF; they can be anything from the VHI Women’s Mini-Marathon, Dublin City Marathon to the Great Dublin Bike Ride, etc. Scroll down to see all manner of events you can choose from.
A CYO-Event (Create-Your-Own) Event:
This is any type of event you might like to create to support us; we’ve had a “Strictly Come Dancing” night, a coffee morning, golf outings, 5 Aside Challenges, Pilates Workshops and even a sponsored Gym Event, as well as some fabulous Fashion Shows. We’re open to all sorts of ideas and love helping our supporters make these events happen.
